Trumpet Lessons

Evan holds a bachelor's degree in music composition from the University of Kansas where he studied trumpet and music education in addition to music composition. Evan studied trumpet under Steven Leisring at KU, played in KU's Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band and the Trumpet Ensemble. He toured China and Australia with the KU Trumpet Ensemble and was a top player during his time at KU. Evan plays the trumpet for worship music at his church and occasionally plays for special events. He also composes music for trumpet and wind ensembles.
